Responsibilities:
  • Uses common shop mathematics to compute required angles and dimensions.
  • h Accurately reads tape measure, angle finder, and other necessary measuring devices.
  • h Reads blueprints and flat sheets to lay out work within tolerances to ensure accuracy and to meet required specifications and department quality standards.
  • h Uses overhead bridge cranes to load and unload press, requiring acceptable levels of eye, hand and foot coordination.
  • h Adjusts depth and tilt settings on the press to ensure proper positions meet tolerances and various specifications.

Quotation Specialist

Responsibilities:
  • Position Summary:
  • The Quotation Specialist provides quotations to Utility customers. Quotation Specialists are required to work closely with all departments to ensure costs, delivery, and customer requirements are accurate.
  • Duties & Responsibilities
  • Receives and processes quotation packages based on deadlines given by potential customers.
  • Communicates with internal/external departments regarding cost, delivery, technical and commercial requirements.
  • Update/review QT pricing based on cost components and margins set by management.

Production Supervisor

Alvarado, TX

Responsibilities:
  • Gives daily work assignments to personnel within the Tower Shop. Makes decisions regarding work priorities based on published schedules and conversations with department manager, taking into account his/her knowledge of assigned personnel, individual skills, and existing personnel vacancies.
  • Continuously monitors progress on daily work schedules to assure that satisfactory progress is being made.
  • Maintains files and records of employee attendance and performance. Provides daily reports of time and attendance for payroll purposes.
  • Based on personal observation and existing reporting systems, evaluates performance of all employees in terms of safety, quality, productivity and attendance. Initiates training and/or corrective action to correct deficiencies.
  • Maintains authorized staffing levels. When vacancies occur, initiates appropriate documents to get positions filled through internal postings and/or outside hiring. Interviews candidates and, within prescribed guidelines, selects candidate recommended for each position.

  • Must be able to accurately identify material to load based on a shipment order.

Equipment Operator-A- Large Forklift

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures quality of all shipping items by verifying and identifying information and quality/condition of items as well as taking steps necessary to protect items from damage while being loaded on trucks and in shipping containers.
  • Loads and unloads material in a safe and organized manner at all times.
  • Pulls and prepares materials for shipments as needed.
  • Knowledge of all yard bin locations.

Material Handler

Responsibilities:
  • Assists machine operators, welders, and other personnel in loading/unloading, transporting raw, in-process, and finished materials throughout the facility.
  • Identifies raw material needed to supply to production.
  • Uses forklifts and other heavy equipment such as cranes to move various sizes of steel plates and poles.
  • Stages all stock and manufactured steel plate, black or galvanized steel pipe to production.

Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

Raleigh, NC

Responsibilities:
  • Use engineering skills and manufacturing experience to design sheet metal enclosures for housing electrical equipment for the wireless cell phone industry
  • Manage vendors during first article builds to assure accuracy, proficiency and on-time delivery to customers
  • Track design and build cycles against schedules and communicate real time updates to Project Manager and customers.
  • Review drawings for production feasibility, cost impact, manufacturability and design accuracy
  • Recommend/implement design changes for reduction in production cycle times, optimal cost efficiency, universal component use, and ease of assembly.

Welder Production Lead

Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and delegates daily tasks to assigned production employees.
  • Efficiently uses the company's computer system to collect labor hours and track process information on each job.
  • Supervises employee duties to insure Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals are met.
  • Trains production employees as needed.
  • Ensures all daily production cards are filled out properly with the correct cost centers, part numbers, job number, and time worked on parts on MES.
  • Ensures housekeeping is maintained in bay areas.
  • Uses Microsoft Outlook (email) to communicate within and outside of the department.
  • Checks the fit up of each assembly within their area of responsibility.
  • Operates various material handling equipment, to include but not limited to, overhead cranes, forklift, and pallet jacks.

  • Assists employees in reading blue prints and interpreting weld symbols.
  • Solves production problems as they arise.

Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years progressive experience in a manufacturing operation

Maintenance Supervisor

Alvarado, TX

Responsibilities:
  • Plans, estimates, schedule, and coordinate maintenance work. Provides effective maintenance service for plant while striving to limit down time and reduce costs.
  • Responsible for single point coordination of emergency off-shift and weekend repair needs (e.g., vendor contact, shipping of product, etc.).
  • Maintains liaison with other plant departments to keep an awareness of safety and maintenance problems. Responsible for "first alert" detection of equipment.
  • Assists in the development of Production Department repair budgets, capital equipment selection, and major modifications and upgrades to equipment.

          EHS Specialist- Galvanizing

          Responsibilities:
          • The EHS Specialist position is responsible for implementing all policies and procedures that comprise the EHS program including, but limited to, evaluation and control of safety and health hazards in the workplace, routine hazard recognition and environmental management and also supports functions by performing routine tasks associated with inspection of necessary equipment. The position will work with managers, supervisors, and employees to minimize environmental exposures, occupational health and safety risks, teach specific safe work habits and manage compliance with applicable regulations.
          • Directly support the Environmental, Health and Safety at Sabre Industries facilities to ensure and facilitate compliance with all applicable federal, state, local and company EHS rules and regulations.

          Electrical Engineer

          Bossier City, LA

          Responsibilities:
          • Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements
          • Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks
          • Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products
          • Direct or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements
          • Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems
          • Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment
          • Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications
          • Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed on time and within budget
          • Plan or implement research methodology or procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects
          • Typically works in an office type environment and as required works in a production environment, exposed to loud noise dust particles, and an indoor environment that is non-controlled
          • Occasionally required to go on site to for assessment, installation and troubleshooting

          Requirements:
          • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
          • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
          • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
          • Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
          • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
          • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
          • Must work well in a group or team environment
          • Background and or highly interested in solar grid tie systems
          • Must regularly wear protective personal equipment such as steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, hard hats, and ear plugs and adhere to all site requirements
          Educational Requirements:
          • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study
          • Lean Certification is a plus
          • Working toward Professional Engineer certification
