Tower II Plant Manager - Bossier City, LA

Responsibilities:
  • Schedules and assigns work along with preparing and reviewing production reports
  • Ensures that work is performed in accordance to the employee's job duties and related policies and procedures
  • Monitors the production processes and product quality, implementing corrective actions to solve production problems
  • Verifies work schedules, overtime schedules and informs employees of any scheduling changes
  • Oversees the assigned manufacturing area and is responsible to immediately communicate abnormal events or circumstances to management
  • Maintains work place organization and ensures good housekeeping practices
  • Leads the production team to efficiently and safely accomplish assigned tasks
  • Contributes to a safe working environment by being responsible for quality, safety, organization, and cleanliness in your area of operation
  • Contributes to and maintains team effort by communicating and working well with others, as well as accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Fiscally responsible for maintaining a working budget, expenses, and margins
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed

Requirements:
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to build relationships with co-workers and other internal customers
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced team environment
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with recent experience using ERP/MRP or other manufacturing systems
  • 3 or more years of supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in Business or related field are preferred, but not required

Shift:
  • Monday-Friday, 6:00am -2:30pm

Industrial Engineer - Bossier City, LA

Responsibilities:
  • Use industrial engineering and statistical skills to: integrate capacity requirements, labor balancing, and product flow, optimize inventory systems and production control, and design quality systems and information flow systems
  • Interface with shop and engineers daily to determine action step from process analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • One (1) plus years of industrial experience desired
  • Must be hands on in the production processes
  • Must be able to see the big picture to optimize/analyze process steps
  • Lean training is a plus, but a mindset and history with process control and change is a must
  • Must be familiar with statistical techniques utilized in various lean manufacturing approaches and quality control systems
  • Must possess skills in process modeling and "what if" analyses
  • Must be familiar with various inventory management approaches
  • Must be able to interface with IT and management personnel to devise hard copy and digital documentation systems including, but not be limited to: shop instructions, quality systems, change order routines, procurement and inventory management systems, safety and environmental systems
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and writing communication skills
  • Possess the mental flexibility to identify skill sets to be required in the future, be self-motivated to learn and then teach those skills to other technical-professional or trades personnel
  • Willing to get hands dirty on the shop floor
  • Must be able to work in a typical production environment, exposed to loud noise dust particles, and an indoor environment that is non-controlled
  • Must regularly wear protective personal equipment such as steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, hard hats, and ear plugs

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering

Shift: 8am-5pm
