Quality Engineer - Bossier City, LA

  • Ensures that the Quality Manual is properly written, ISO/TS compliant and maintained
  • Establishes quality and reliability standards; measuring, testing and auditing techniques; and data collection methods for products and services
  • Achieves a high level of conformance to customer specifications through the development and implementation of quality control processes including: Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, control plans, work instructions/standard work, problem solving and corrective action, and process audits
  • Monitors performance of quality control to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Communicates quality control information to all relevant departments, outside vendors, or contractors
  • Responsible for training and directing inspectors
  • Involved in all quality system elements
  • Tracks and reports quality trends to upper management
  • Works well with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to meet quality objectives, and resolve problems affecting production and quality
  • Teaches and coaches employees to understand and achieve a high level of workmanship

  • High level of experience in ISO 9001, TS 16949
  • Experience with developing FMEA, control plans, and technical procedures
  • Experience in quality assurance with an electrical or mechanical background
  • Detail oriented, and able to read and interpret technical drawings, customer specifications, and codes
  • Computer skills required for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. Ability to produce professional correspondence and documentation
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
  • Must be able to clearly communicate knowledge, ideas, and concepts
  • Understanding of basic statistical tools and methods; Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Educational Requirements:
  • 4 year college degree, technical discipline preferred
  • Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred

  • Runs, maneuvers, navigates or drives heavy equipment or mechanized equipment such as forklifts, cranes/overhead cranes, trucks, etc.
  • Ensures material meets quality specifications
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform setups and other job functions according to specifications
  • Perform daily pre-inspection and on-going maintenance checks

Beam Line Material Handler - Bossier City, LA

  • Unloading inbound shipments and moving products from various locations
  • Efficiently stocks and stores materials in appropriate areas
  • Pulls and prepares product for shipment
